Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley’s Marriage Fell Apart Before ‘RHOSLC’
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport and her husband Todd Bradley’s marriage is under renewed scrutiny following revelations about their years of living separately and a resurfaced dog attack lawsuit.
Details of 2018 Dog Attack Lawsuit Emerge
Court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun reveal that Bronwyn and Todd lived in separate states between 2016 and 2018, with Todd residing in San Francisco, California, while Bronwyn lived in Park City, Utah. The arrangement came to light after a lawsuit was filed against the couple following a 2016 incident where their Boxer dog allegedly attacked a woman.
The plaintiff claimed the dog bit her hand, causing severe injuries that required surgery. She alleged Todd and Bronwyn were aware of the dog’s aggressive nature but failed to take proper precautions.
“Newport-Bradley told investigating animal control officer Vernon that the dog belonged to her and that [the dog keeper] worked for her, took care of the dog, and transported the dog back and forth between Park City and San Francisco, where Defendant Richard Todd Bradley was residing,” the lawsuit stated.
The woman claimed she suffered lasting physical, emotional, and financial damage from the attack. In September 2018, the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice after the parties reached a settlement.
Bronwyn Addresses Monica Garcia’s RHOSLC Status
Amid the resurfaced legal issues, Bronwyn also weighed in on RHOSLC cast member Monica Garcia’s potential return to the show. Monica faced backlash after allegedly working with the controversial Instagram account Reality Von Tease, which targeted her castmates.
“I think that’s hard to say because I don’t know the full weight of that betrayal for them,” Bronwyn told Us Weekly last month. “I do know that there’s always three sides to every story. So I’ve heard Monica’s, I’ve heard the ladies’; I have a feeling the truth is somewhere in the middle.”
Despite Monica making her castmates feel “unsafe,” Bronwyn hinted the Housewives might have played a part in the conflict by engaging with the gossip account.
“I’m definitely talking out of pocket because I was not there. I do not know, but I also think you do your best work when you feel a little uncomfortable,” Bronwyn added.
While not eager to reunite with Monica herself, Bronwyn suggested Monica’s presence could inject some needed drama into the show. “Maybe I’m in a real bad place with the ladies if I’m asking for Monica to make an appearance, but, you know, we’ll see.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Wednesdays, at 8 pm ET, on Bravo
