Just like fellow celebrities Katie Holmes and Martha Stewart, the always-elegant Zoe Saldaña has been sporting warm, mocha-hued makeup looks this season. We’re loving the muted and effortlessly pretty shades, which is a fresh switch from winter’s typical dark colors, and are now feeling inspired to steal the 46-year-old actress’ look for ourselves.
Thankfully, celebrity makeup artist Vera Steimberg is spilling Saldaña’s exact makeup details from the TIFF Premiere of the star’s new film, Emilia Pérez, so we can snap up the products she wore on the red carpet.
“Zoe’s gorgeous Armani Prive black dress was our inspiration for a sophisticated, sultry look with golden brown hues on her lids and a deconstructed French twist for her hair,” the celebrity makeup artist told Us. She noted that she used Smashbox’s Always On Longwear matte liquid lipstick in the color Stepping Out on Saldaña for the event — and TBH, we won’t be waiting to scoop it up. The deep nude with modest pink undertones is the moment and costs less than $30.
The highly pigmented lipstick has a velvety matte finish and uses a precision tip applicator to line and fill lips in one fell swoop.
