Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.57% By Investing.com


Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.57%.

The best performers of the session on the were Savola Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 3.35 points to trade at 36.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:) added 5.14% or 2.05 points to end at 41.90 and Arabian Centres Co (TADAWUL:) was up 3.94% or 0.82 points to 21.62 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Fitaihi Holding Group (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.68% or 0.29 points to trade at 4.05 at the close. Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 4.17% or 6.80 points to end at 156.40 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 3.87% or 0.58 points to 14.42.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 233 to 84 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in Savola Group (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; up 9.97% or 3.35 to 36.95.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.20% or 0.85 to $69.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.40% or 0.29 to hit $73.10 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.18% or 31.19 to trade at $2,622.11 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.40% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 107.68.
