The conflict reportedly started when Iqbal allegedly directed personal remarks at Hales, the 36-year-old disclosed details about the confrontation. he stated that Iqbal made rude remarks, questioning if he was embarrassed about his drug ban for England and if he was still using drugs.

Hales expressed disappointment, stating that on-field issues should stay on the field, and criticized the personal nature of the confrontation, especially since it occurred after the game. “It’s a real shame really because if anything happens on the field that just ends on the field, but to get personal and that too after the game, I think is pathetic to be honest,” he added.
