Rovman Powell’s knock goes in vain

Rovman Powell was the lone warrior for the hosts, smashing 60 off 35 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. Romario Shepherd (22 off 17) provided some hope in the latter stages, but it wasn’t enough to cross the line.

Bangladesh’s bowling effort was led by Mahedi Hasan, who delivered a masterful spell, taking 4 wickets for just 13 runs in his 4 overs, earning him the Player of the Match award. Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed also chipped in with two wickets each, while Tanzim Sakib and Rishad Hossain took one apiece.
