Captain Jason Chambers, known for his role on Below Deck Down Under, has revealed a melanoma diagnosis following a recent biopsy. The 52-year-old yacht captain shared the news via an Instagram video, detailing his experience and emphasizing the importance of sun protection.

“The Australian doctors here, which are fantastic in Australia, they weren’t happy with what the indications told them, to go to the stage two, which would be [to] cut out a bigger section and test the glands,” Chambers explained in his video. He is currently awaiting the specimen from Bali to proceed with additional testing, a process that may be delayed until after Christmas. “It’s a bit of a wait, so fingers crossed,” expressing his anxiety over the situation.
