Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.93% By Investing.com



Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.93%.

The best performers of the session on the were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which rose 3.09% or 23.30 points to trade at 777.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:) added 2.88% or 22.50 points to end at 803.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was up 0.97% or 8.00 points to 832.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 6.33% or 8.80 points to trade at 129.50 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:) declined 3.17% or 4.20 points to end at 128.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:) was down 2.27% or 7.90 points to 340.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.33% or 8.80 to 129.50. Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.27% or 7.90 to 340.30.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.49% or 1.06 to $70.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.81% or 0.60 to hit $73.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 6.56 to trade at $2,669.24 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.10, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 106.58.
