Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh took a brilliant catch to dismiss the well-set batter Ravindra Jadeja on Day 4 of the third Test against India in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25. Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir was visibly upset with Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal in the first innings at the Gabba.
Team India resumed their fourth day’s play at 51/4 with Rahul (33) and Rohit Sharma (0). However, the visiting team lost Rohit Sharma, who scored 10 runs, in the morning session. Ravindra Jadeja, who returned to the playing XI, joined KL Rahul at the crease. Rahul and Jadeja stabilized the innings with a partnership.

Pat Cummins dismissed Ravindra Jadeja on the last ball of the 66th over in India’s first innings. Jadeja looked to play a pull shot on a high bouncer but mistimed it, sending the ball into the air. Mitchell Marsh ran towards the ball and completed a two-handed catch. The wicket puts India closer to facing a follow-on.
