Inside Shannon Beador’s Epic Diss After Settling Lawsuit With John Janssen for $60K!
Shannon Beador shares proof of her $60,000 settlement with Alexis Bellino and John Janssen, putting their legal battle to rest in dramatic fashion.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador is putting the drama behind her — literally. The reality TV veteran, 60, took to Instagram on Thursday, November 21, to share proof of her settlement with ex John Janssen and his fiancée, Alexis Bellino.
“Enjoy…” Shannon Shares Receipts
In an Instagram Story post, Shannon uploaded a photo of her “Outgoing Wire Transfer Receipt,” revealing she paid $60,000 to settle the lawsuit. While she redacted personal details, the sum and the purpose of the funds — “John Janssen settlement in full”—were prominently displayed.
Shannon cheekily captioned the post, “Enjoy…” and tagged both Alexis and John’s official accounts. She later shared the same image to her Instagram feed, writing, “That’s a wrap Season 18.”
Her daughter Sophie, 22, chimed in with a comment, “Out with the old and in with the new!!🤩🤩,” signaling support for her mom’s fresh start.

A Long-Running Legal Battle
The settlement marks the end of a years-long legal feud between Shannon and John, 61, who dated for nearly four years before their split. John filed a lawsuit claiming Shannon owed him $75,000 for a facelift he funded during their relationship, alleging breach of oral contract and promissory fraud.
Initially, Shannon agreed to repay half the amount but later changed her mind after learning John allegedly had footage from her DUI arrest in September 2023. She then offered to settle for a lesser amount in exchange for a non-disparagement agreement, but John refused.
John filed a notice of settlement on Tuesday, November 19, officially dismissing the lawsuit.
John Janssen Denies Threatening to Share DUI Footage
Amid the controversy, John addressed rumors about the DUI footage, insisting he never intended to release it.
“I am the one that has the videos, and nothing has ever come outta my mouth that I was ever gonna show them to anybody,” John exclusively told Us Weekly last month. “That was never a possibility.”
Alexis Bellino Looks to the Future
John’s fiancée, Alexis Bellino, 47, has also expressed relief that the legal drama is over. Alexis, who rejoined RHOC during the feud, admitted the lawsuit added tension to her relationship with Shannon.
“It’s OK ’cause now it’s done,” Alexis told Us Weekly. “We can close that door and open the door to the wedding.”
The couple got engaged in August 2023 after nine months of dating and are now focused on planning their future together.
Shannon Beador on Alexis’ Return to RHOC
Despite settling the legal battle, tensions between Shannon and Alexis remain high. Shannon made it clear she’s not interested in working with Alexis should they both return for RHOC Season 19.
“I’m grateful for the job,” Shannon told Us Weekly. “Absolutely I am [returning]. I’d be grateful to come back. But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, not gonna be around.”
What’s Next?
With the lawsuit officially behind her, Shannon is ready to move forward, though her feud with Alexis may keep the drama alive in future seasons. As the cast dynamics evolve, fans are eager to see how the fallout from this settlement impacts the next chapter of RHOC.
For now, Shannon’s message is clear: she’s closing one door and stepping boldly into the next.
