With the Golden State Warriors officially announcing the trade to acquire Dennis Schroder from the Brooklyn Nets, all eyes have turned towards the news around his debut. The Warriors will face the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, offering Schroder a chance to suit up in the team’s colors for the first time.
The German guard is not on the injury report, and will be avilable to play for the 2022 NBA playoffs conference semis rematch. The news about Schroder’s move broke on Saturday, and the Warriors made it official Sunday. However, he didn’t suit up in Sunday’s 143-133 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Schroder’s debut couldn’t have come at a better time. The Dubs have just two wins in their last 10 games. They also needed a solid option to guard Ja Morant, and Schroder provides that as someone who can match the Grizzlies superstar’s quickness.
