Joss Stone Is Pregnant After Adopting Baby With Husband Cody DaLuz

British singer-songwriter Joss Stone and her husband, Cody DaLuz, are expecting their fourth baby just one month after adopting a son.

“Honestly. Shocked was an understatement 😂,” Stone, 37, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, December 19, sharing a video of herself looking at a positive pregnancy test. “Nothing and no one can take our joy now. We are so chuffed !!!!”

She added, “Maybe we should call the ‘Less is More Tour’ the preggo tour 😆 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Stone announced her Less Is More: An Evening With Joss Stone tour earlier this month and is scheduled to perform eight concerts in the United States in February 2025.

Stone and DaLuz, 34, are already parents of three: Violet, 3, Shackleton, 2, and newborn Bear. The married duo formally adopted Bear in November, later telling Hello! that the process took nearly 18 months.

“He’s the best Christmas gift ever,” Stone told the magazine in an interview published on Monday, December 16. “What’s crazy is that we brought him home the night before Thanksgiving. So we woke up in the morning with our son — and that is something to be thankful for.”

The couple, who got married in 2023, were interested in adopting because of DaLuz’s family history.

“The reason why Cody even exists is because his bio mum loved him enough to make an adoption plan for him and the same goes for Bear,” Stone wrote via Instagram on December 2. “Honestly, bio mothers do not get the gratitude they deserve. It is a more selfless love than I knew existed. Truly. We are just so happy to be part of this beautiful cycle.”

“Violet knows Bear is a boy but she keeps calling him ‘her,’” Stone gushed to Hello. “It’s almost like she wants to put a little bow on his head. It’s such a lovely space for him to be in and I hope he’s feeling that love.”

Stone and DaLuz feel the same. The Grammy winner recently told Us Weekly how parenthood strengthened their marriage.

“It’s funny because we never had a big relationship before we had kids,” she exclusively said in May. “So, our entire time has been having children. We’re getting to know each other at the same time as doing a very difficult job. Parenting definitely, you know, [is] like having no sleep and all that kind of stuff. So it’s really crazy. And we wanted to be married, but we wanted to be married before we had kids, but that just didn’t happen.”
