Being two of our favorite affordable-meets-luxury style icons, the Katie Holmes and Meghan Markle fashion crossover was bound to happen sooner or later! Holmes just copied one of Markle’s previous sweater styles — and it’s re-inspired our winter fashion rotation! Holmes was just spotted in New York City on November 20, 2024 giving Us inspiration on how to make preppy fashion look incredibly chic. Wearing Cinq à Sept head-to-toe, the Dawson’s Creek actress put together a black leather midi skirt, some gray slingback kitten heels and a black sweater over a button up top. We couldn’t help but notice it was a look that the Duchess of Sussex had worn last winter at the Invictus Games — signaling it’s likely going to be a popular style this season too.
Holmes’s pick is $295 from Cinq à Sept, while Markle’s J. Crew version is long sold out. But lucky for Us we can still get their style at a budget-friendly price point of just $20 on Amazon with this similar version.

Like Holmes and Markle’s pick, this sweater vest has a sleeves design, a v-neckline and a knitted fabric. It features ribbing at the hems and is made of 100 percent cotton, which makes it breathable and easy to machine wash.
