Kim Kardashian is keeping up with her shoe game — despite having a broken foot.
The Skims founder took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 17, to share a photo of a high heel-shaped cast, replete with a perfectly polished bright red pedicure, but of course.
Many called the move “innovative” and gave her props for being committed to the serve.
“When you break your [foot] but still wanna go out,” one user quipped. Others predicted that the cast would become a new trend. “Always ahead of your time in the fashion world,” wrote a fan, while another added: “This will be the new trend.”

Some even wondered whether that the cast was a new design from Kardashian’s collaboration with Balenciaga or perhaps a potential hint at her next Skims collection.
Kardashian, 44, first shared the news of her broken foot on Friday, December 6, when she posted an image of her foot in a boot cast and crutches while Fergie’s song “Clumsy” played in the background.
“FML,” she wrote alongside the Instagram photo with a swearing emoji. “Broken foot for the holidays.”
Less than a week later, Kardashian hopped on a plane from Los Angeles to New York City to attend the star-studded opening of her Skims flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

She pulled up at the Skims store in Midtown, New York City, on Thursday, December 12, in an all-cream custom Chrome Hearts ensemble with a plunging neckline and skintight trousers. Despite her ailment, she wore translucent heels (on both feet) and wheeled in on a black knee scooter. A matching mini-bag hung from the handlebars.
Fans praised her for powering through her injury, in heels no less. After all, no one knows better than Kardashian that sometimes you have to get off your ass and work — or scoot.
