Yashasvi Jaiswal takes a stunner, but India denied Travis Head’s wicket during Gabba Test

India almost got the big wicket of Travis Head during the third Test of the ongoing Test series against Australia at Gabba, Brisbane when the batter was brilliantly caught by Yashasvi Jaiswal at gully.

During the 81st over of Australia’s first innings, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a yorker-length ball outside off, which Travis Head looked to steer past the gully fielder. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal swooped in from the gully to take a wonderful catch at head height while diving forward.

Jaiswal went up in celebration as he claimed that the batter had been dismissed. However, it was later found that the ball had clearly bumped into the ground before being taken by Jaiswal. As a result, the third umpire ruled it not out.
